There will be GRAND racing at the Speedway Kart Grand Prix

Local Hawkesbury District business, Wescranes, proudly presents the 7^th annual “Speedway Kart Grand Prix “ being hosted by the New South Wales Speedway Kart Club this Sunday at the Nepean Motorsport Complex located on Rickards Road, Castlereagh.

The Wescranes organisation has been a corporate partner of the NSWSKC for numerous years and their relationship with the Club has not only continued but in fact grown.  Not only are they the sponsor of this weekends event, they also sponsor the KT Pro Class and were the naming sponsor of the 2011 Australian Titles recently in September.

The Club and its members greatly appreciate the support received from the Wescranes organisation, the Hart Family and we are confident that the coming meeting will do them justice.

This meeting is round 5 of the championship season and this weekend will be the second attempt to run the event after it was washed out back in July.

Drivers in the championship only have 2 rounds left in this year’s championship and the points chase in most classes is still very close as the season end draws near.

3 wide clubman light racing will be on again on Sunday

All the stars and their karts will be present and the expectation of over 70 very talented speedway karters tearing up the Nepean Raceway is one that a lot of speedway fans are planning on coming out to watch.

The racing at the Nepean Motorsport Complex on Rickards Road, Castlereagh is scheduled to start at 10am.

There is a full canteen facility for all your eating and drinking requirements throughout the day.
